ホタルイカ

firefly squid

出張が終わり自宅へ戻った。今回は京都、大阪、兵庫を行ったり来たり。いろんな人に会いすぎたので、少々頭を冷やしたいと思う。

帰り道、富山県滑川市のほたるいかミュージアムに寄った。ご存じの通りホタルイカは光り、そして墨を吐くが、どちらも自らの身を隠し守るためらしい。目立つアーティストを探しに行ったはずが、目立ちたくないホタルイカに感心してしまった

I came back home yesterday after the business trip to Kyoto, Osaka and Hyogo. I rest myself to cool my head filled with the things happened in this term.

On my way home, I visited HOTARUIKA MUSEUM in Toyama. Hotaruika, firefly squid, flashes or spews ink to protect itself against its enemies. I made this business trip to find some artists standing out, but admired the squid trying to hide itself.
