今年もミラノへ ３

I came to milan this year again　3

ミラノの大きな教会前で見つけた古代ミラノの地図とヴェネツィア門。ミラノもかつては立派な城郭に囲まれた町だったことがわかる。建設された時代は主にローマ時代、中世、スペイン時代に区分されるらしい。

今回の出張では、●●門で待ち合わせとか、■■通り（かつての壁の跡）を走ったら早く着くとか、コロナウイルス対策で都市封鎖とか、壁に関することが多かった。

ちなみに私が泊まっていたアパートは今はミラノ市郊外の住宅街ですが、この地図の時代は壁の外。あったか無いかもわからない。

A map of Milan in ancient times I found in front of a big church, and Porta Venezia. Milan was a strong walled city. The period of its construction is devided mainly into three, the Roman period, the medieval period and the period of Spain.

During this business trip, I remembered this wall many times, for example, an appointment in front of ●● gate, taking ■■ street constructed where there was the wall, cities under a lockdown and so on.

By the way, the place I was sleeping is located in the suburbs of Milan city. It was outside this wall, who knows how it was.
