「木立の中」 アクリルP８号　"in a grove" acrylic on canvas 46x33cm

風船のように背の高い木立の中。あたりには靄がかかり、鳥のさえずりも聞こえてきそうだ。小さな家の屋根には旗がひらめき、白い壁に開いた入口と窓が中の様子を想像させる。木陰には少女が２人、姉妹か。大きな荷物を持ち振り返る姉と、その話に熱心に聞き入る妹。静かに香る空気の中で、いったい何を話しているのだろう。

In a grove with leaves like green baloons in the sky, you would hear the birds singing in the haze. On the roof of a small house, a flag is bending to the wind, and the doorway and windows open on the white wall make you imagine the inside. There are two girls talking in the shade, they might be sisters. The older sister with a big bag looks back to her younger sister listening to her carefully. What are they talking about in such silent scent?
